Purley BID has launched the 2021 edition of Purley in Bloom.

A number of groups and individuals attended the launch, which featured speeches from Simon Cripps, CEO of Purley BID and Peter Holman, the Co-Chair of London in Bloom, who explained what the competition is about and how the journey along the way is as important as the end results.

A spokesman for Purley BID said: “A good start was made on various areas in Purley Cross and the volunteers were very interested in the Purley in Bloom project and the difference it will make to the town. This is a 5-year vision and Purley BID hopes to bring the whole community together to help make Purley cleaner and greener.”
