Menta was established in 1990 by Craig Marks Initially undertaking the strategic workout of £400m of investment and development assets, and development situations held in receiverships on behalf of KPMG.
Menta between 1995 and 2005 assembled and managed a portfolio of assets, which required development expertise and capital expenditure to unlock, as part of mixed use development and regeneration projects which were then sold. The company continues to focus on larger regeneration and development transactions with capital values in excess of £30 million, and maintains an outstanding ethos with internationally recognised consultant teams.

Menta Regeneration have been involved in the creation and ongoing delivery of the 3 million sq ft East Croydon Masterplan vision over a number of years, working closely with the Local Authority to site assemble areas of land surrounding East Croydon station with the overall objective of ensuring the comprehensive delivery of the wider Masterplan vision.

The scheme is situated in the north east of Croydon Metropolitan area in a highly accessible location adjacent to East Croydon Station. The development provides an important link between the Metropolitan Centre to the West and Addiscombe to the east.
Morello Quarter has delivered nearly 1000 new and affordable homes in a set of 7 tall buildings ranging from 12 to 25 storeys. The final phase of the scheme will also deliver over 20,000 sq ft of commercial and amenity space and a comprehensive new station entrance. The public realm will also be further enhanced in collaboration with artist Elisa Artesero who will be integrating various public art installations within the space.
The development designed by Make architects sets a new architecture benchmark for Croydon and has attracted a wider range of new occupiers, including doctors, nurses, local IT professionals and professionals working in Central London to the area, aiding the regeneration of an area that was previously starved of investment.
In early 2024, Menta opened the Morello Car Park, part of the Morello Quarter Residential Scheme, which offers safe and secure underground parking with 24/7 access and CCTV throughout, along with electric vehicle charging bays and blue badge bays.
