Fairfield School of Business (FSB) showcased more than 1,000 job vacancies across a variety of industries, from more than 30 employers.

The Gatwick Jobs Fair was held in partnership with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and Gatwick Airport.

Mohammed Zaidi, CEO at Fairfield School of Business, added: “Gatwick Airport is truly a city that never sleeps. There are so many great opportunities available right across the airport.

“It was an honour to host and support so many job seekers in the Croydon area.

“Kunal Chan Mehta, our PR manager, is already working on future events with DWP.”

Dr John Pomeroy, principal at Fairfield School of Business, added: “We were truly inspired by the DWP work coaches who helped connect so many people with local opportunities and getting job seekers offers on the spot.

“These events lift people’s self-esteem, character and confidence, while helping the local economy.”

King Junior, DWP Surrey service leader at Jobcentre Plus, said: “This was the first event at the Fairfield School of Business in Croydon, a wonderful location facilitated by a great time who really went out of their way to look after us and our customers, and we look forward to working closely with them again in the future.”

George Washington, student union president at Fairfield School of Business, said: “I was very impressed with the variety of roles and the wonderful array of international brands such as Ted Baker, British Airways, Costa Coffee, and many more, all at our campus.”
