Develop Croydon has once again signed up to support the Gatwick Region Airport Economic Zone at UKREiiF 2026. This will be their third year taking part.

The partnership was initiated by place marketing specialists White Label Creative and led by London Gatwick, in association with the Gatwick Diamond Initiative. It aims to drive efforts to establish a strong economic identity for the region surrounding the airport, positioning the Gatwick region as a premier destination for investment, innovation, job creation, and long-term economic resilience.

A broad coalition of supporting partners from both the public and private sector will again be attending as part of the delegation.

Public sector partners confirmed to date include Brighton & Hove City Council, Horsham District Council, Reigate & Banstead Borough Council, Invest West Kent, West Sussex Country Council, and Invest Chichester.

Private sector partners currently include Morgan Sindall Construction, Modus, Oander, SHW and White Label.

The Gatwick Region is a key economic powerhouse in the South East of England. It generated £155 billion in GVA in 2022, contributing 6.9% to the UK’s economy. The region offers an ideal environment for business growth, supported by top universities, innovation hubs, and major employers like BAE Systems, Haleon, and Rolls-Royce. With exceptional investment opportunities, a high quality of life, and seamless access to London, the coast and beyond, the Gatwick Region is the connected choice for sustainable, long-term growth.
