Develop Croydon has convened a powerful new coalition of public and private sector leaders to make the case for urgent transport investment across Croydon and the wider Greater Thameslink Growth Corridor.
Bringing together Network Rail, Govia Thameslink Railway, Transport for London, London Gatwick Airport, Croydon Council, Crystal Palace Football Club and Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, the forum has created a unique space where operators, investors, developers and local authorities can speak with a single, evidence-based voice to government.
The coalition’s purpose is to build shared understanding of the transport challenges the region faces, and to ensure that when Croydon Council and the South London Partnership publish their transport strategies later this year, the political and financial groundwork with the Department for Transport and HM Treasury has already been laid.
