Croydon’s Mini PrideFest, proudly sponsored by Croydon Business Improvement District (BID), brought vibrancy and celebration to Croydon town centre on Saturday, 20 July, from 12pm to 6pm.

This vibrant celebration of diversity and inclusion included live performances, music, dance, stalls, the popular walking parade and a fantastic array of food and drink.

The main event took place within the pedestrianised area of the High Street outside Grants, whilst the walking parade started outside Marks and Spencer on North End at 2pm.

The lineup of local emerging Croydon artists was nothing short of spectacular, featuring headline act Vanity Milan from RuPaul’s Drag Race UK alongside acts like Star McKenzie, Paris Grande, Artist Prime and DJ Ben Nizan. Hosting the stage with flair and charisma will be the fabulous Faye Wheeler.

Despite the challenges we faced with funding this year, the spirit of unity and pride shines brighter than ever. The day was fun filled for all ages as families enjoyed entertainment at The Croydon Clocktower. The celebrations also continued with exciting after-parties in various locations within the town centre.
