Croydon BID is encouraging everyone to unleash their inner Torvill and Dean at the Christmas ice rink from Thursday 9 December.

Skaters are invited to donate just £3 to hit the ice with proceeds going to homeless charity Crisis.

The 12x6m rink will be open at North End until 12 December.

Crisis are requesting donations to help support those who face spending Christmas on the streets this winter.

Little ones can also visit Father Christmas at Centrale.

Santa’s Grotto is open every day throughout December and bookings cost £6 per child.

The grotto is on the ground floor of Centrale, opposite House of Fraser, and depicts a winter wonderland of Christmas magic for children to explore.

Santa’s helpers greet visitors on arrival and there’s even the opportunity for festive photos.

Each child also receives a gift at the end of their visit.
