Fast International Access
Rail services connect East Croydon to major central London stations in minutes: 14 minutes to London Bridge, 16 to London Victoria, 22 to City Thameslink and eight to Clapham Junction. London Gatwick Airport is just 15 minutes away, with a direct service reaching St Pancras International in approximately 30 minutes, giving businesses and travellers easy access to Eurostar connections to Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam.
The recently approved Northern Runway project will increase London Gatwick’s capacity to 75 million passengers a year, further strengthening Croydon’s position as the primary business gateway between central London and one of Europe’s busiest airports.

A Network Built
For The Future
More than 140,000 visitors come to Croydon every day, underscoring its role in the sub-regional economy of the South East. Transport for London has awarded Croydon Borough Council £6.9 million through the borough’s Local Implementation Plan, with a further £2.1 million from Section 106 developer contributions.
Between 2026 and 2028, this funding will improve bus journeys, deliver safer streets, and create new pedestrian and cycle routes connecting Croydon’s green spaces.
